The Avon Theater Open 7 Days Per Week Starting Aug. 28

As of today, the Avon Theatre is returning to a seven days a week schedule.

The Theater will be opening the much-anticipated new release The Personal History of David Copperfield, starring Dev Patel, Tilda Swinton, and Hugh Laurie. The BBC described this film as “Imaginatively conceived and gloriously cast,” and The Hollywood Reporter raved that “Dev Patel lights up the screen.”

The Avon’s mix of new and classic films continues through the holiday weekend with a Music On Film series, comprised of four of the best music documentaries of all time: Monterey Pop (1968), Gimme Shelter (1970), A Hard Day's Night (1964), and Don't Look Back (1967).
