The Aldrich hosts an Evening for Educators on January 11

Ridgefield's Aldrich Museum will host an Evening for Educators: Multi-Sensory Museum Techniques with Aliza Greenberg on Friday, Jan. 11 from 5:30 - 7 p.m.

Attendees will delve into strategies to empower and engage students through the arts while collaborating with fellow educators and teaching artists across disciplines. Through activating the galleries with movement and art-making activities, this workshop will explore multimodal approaches designed to be incorporated into the classroom (and the home) for students with developmental and learning disabilities and for students of all abilities.

The cost is $7, and registration is required at shop.aldrichart.org.

Evening for Educators is part of a series of workshops focused on mental health, contemporary art, and teaching to neurological diversity. Meet with museum experts, art therapists, and psychologists, as we explore the healing potential of art and how it can be used as a bridge to well-being, social inclusion, and learning. Check back for information on upcoming workshops in March and May.

The Aldrich is located at 258 Main Street in Ridgefield, Conn. Visit The Aldrich online here.
