Snowkus Pocus, A Cirque-ballet Returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse This Weekend

Snowkus Pocus, a tale told through cirque, ballet, and acrobatics, returns to the Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 4 and 7:30 p.m.

After being confined indoors due to an approaching blizzard, Brianna's dampened spirit turns to joy as she enters an enchanted winter wonderland. In this magical world, young Brianna encounters the North Wind, a man of many moods, the wily and wicked Jack Frost, the elegant Snow Queen, and the charming Metamorphina, Meta for short, who is ever-changing. Brianna gets lost in the chilly splendor until spring arrives to break the ice with a cascade of warmth and flowers.

The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street in Ridgefield, Conn. For tickets ($25 for adults, $20 for children) call or visit the box office, (203) 438-5795 or visit
