The Wilton Library will mark National Seashell Day (June 21) with a book talk by Wilton author Jennifer Schiff. Schiff will discuss the latest in her Sanibel Island mystery series. The event will take place on Thursday, June 20 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. A Q&A will follow the talk.
The fourth book in the Sanibel Island Mystery series, Bye Bye Birdy takes readers back to sunny, shell- and bird-filled Sanibel Island, Florida, and follows local reporter Guin Jones as she tries to prevent another murder.
Filled with beloved characters from the first three books—including Guin’s best friend, Shelly; her partner in crime solving, Craig; her devoted beau, Dr. Harrison Hartwick; her demanding felines, Flora and Fauna; and her favorite sparring partner, Detective William O’Loughlin—as well as several new ones, Bye Bye Birdy is sure to entertain cozy mystery and Sanibel lovers.
Jennifer L. Schiff is the bestselling author of the Sanibel Island Mystery series. A cat lover, bird watcher, shell collector, and avid cozy mystery reader, she and her husband and two cats divide their time between Wilton, Connecticut, and Sanibel Island, Florida.
