The fifth consecutive Ridgefield Writers Conference 2017 will be held on Friday, Sept. 22 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 23 from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. at The Ridgefield Library.
Co-sponsored by the Ridgefield Library and co-founded by Word for Words, LLC, this year's conference begins Friday with readings, author Q&A, and a networking reception. The Friday evening reading and networking reception is free and open to the public. Readers include Peter Selgin, Jamie Cat Callan, and Pete Nelson
Registration is recommended for the Friday evening event.
Saturday will feature workshops, panels, readings, breakout sessions, a networking reception, and a keynote address by acclaimed author Carlos Eire.
The cost is $195. Current students and faculty may qualify for the student/faculty rate of $150. There are only a few spaces left.
